I haven't been accomplishing much lately.  And yet I don't have time to sleep either.  I just finished a physics project, very reluctantly, and because of it, had to forgo the patternmaking final that was also due today.  I wish it didn't have to be one or the other.

On the bright side, there was a rainbow in my window ten minutes ago.

Here's something... kind of.  Ok.  I think Hugo Weaving is really cool.  Like, can wear a fancy elf tiara and still be really cool cool.  I mean the man's name is Hugo.  So here's my sad attempt.  

"  Isildurrr!!!"

He looks more like Jack Nicholson.  Ehh.  I'll remember how to draw if it's the last thing I do.

I also really want to draw grump!hobbit.

I went to... well, I'm not really sure where I was, some old water lock down Hull St, yesterday afternoon.  This is without a doubt my favorite shot of the day.

It wasn't until I converted it to black and white that I noticed the swarm of gnats looming in the sky.




Then I saw these.

Bugs have never been prettier.

I just took a green permanent marker and colored a light bulb and ba-da-bing!  Ambiance.  

I want a purple one too now.

(Note: I only colored half the bulb, resulting in the two different color shadows.  
It might be interesting to try two or more sections of color.)
